Pink Tile Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant – SEND/SEMH to support pupils with SEND, SEMH, ASD and challenging behaviour in a supportive school environment in Bexley.
You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The role will involve:
Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and ASD.
Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and emotional regulation.
Building positive and trusting relationships.
Encouraging engagement, confidence and wellbeing.
Working closely with teachers and the wider school team.
Creating a calm, consistent and nurturing environment.
The ideal candidate will be:
Experienced working with SEND, SEMH, ASD or challenging behaviour.
Patient, resilient and compassionate.
Confident managing challenging situations.
Able to build strong relationships with young people.
Reliable and committed to supporting pupils’ wellbeing and education.
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, SEND Support Worker, Youth Worker or within a care setting would be highly beneficial.
