We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Bexley. This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils who have Autism (ASD), complex needs, and challenging behaviour, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
• Lead and support small group interventions.
• Work with students with ASD, complex needs, and challenging behaviour.
• Support pupils in developing their communication, social, and emotional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Help students access learning and achieve their individual goals.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH, ASD, or behavioural needs.
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
• Reliable, professional, and eager to learn.

The advertised daily rate is inclusive of 12.07% PAYE holiday pay.
