The successful candidate will be leading a Year 5 class that includes four pupils with EHCPs, supported by an experienced SEND team and Teaching Assistants. As the Year 5 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for a vibrant and enthusiastic class, delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum while ensuring all learners are appropriately supported and challenged.
You will:
This class includes four pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) who receive additional support from experienced classroom staff.
The successful teacher will be confident:
✅ Adapting lessons to meet individual needs
✅ Working alongside Teaching Assistants
✅ Supporting children with ASD, ADHD and communication needs
✅ Implementing EHCP targets within daily teaching
✅ Promoting inclusion whilst maintaining high expectations
✅ Celebrating progress for every learner

We are seeking a teacher who:
✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2
✔ Demonstrates excellent classroom management

✔ Brings energy, enthusiasm and creativity to the classroom
