Experienced SEN practitioners wanted
Pink Tile Education is looking to connect with experienced Teaching Assistants who have supported children with more complex needs in primary school or specialist education settings.
This opportunity is aimed at candidates who understand that effective support takes patience, consistency and the ability to adapt to each child’s individual needs.
Provide personalised support throughout the school day.
Assist pupils with communication, engagement and independence.
Follow individual education, communication and behaviour support strategies.
Support learning through adapted activities and visual resources.
Help pupils manage transitions and changes to routine.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals.
Previous hands-on experience supporting children with complex SEND.
A strong understanding of individualised support strategies.
Confidence remaining calm and consistent when pupils become distressed.
Excellent reliability, patience and professional boundaries.
Willingness to follow safeguarding and school procedures.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
The right to work in the UK.
Experience with non-verbal pupils, Makaton, PECS, autism, communication difficulties or personal care needs may be advantageous depending on the placement.
