Pink Tile Education is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to work within welcoming and supportive primary schools across Eastbourne. The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping them to engage, achieve and enjoy their learning experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Delivering small group interventions to support learning and development
• Providing one-to-one support where required
• Working with children with SEND and SEMH needs
• Supporting positive behaviour and implementing behaviour management strategies
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence
• Building strong and positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking proactive, positive and professional individuals who:

• Have experience working with children or young people
• Have worked within schools, youth work, care settings, mentoring, coaching or childcare environments
• Have experience supporting SEND and/or SEMH pupils (desirable)
• Are confident in supporting positive behaviour management
• Are patient, resilient and adaptable
• Can build strong relationships with children and colleagues
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
• Are committed to making a positive impact every day

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant experience working with children or young people
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Pay & Holiday Pay

The advertised daily rate is inclusive of 12.07% PAYE holiday pay.
