Pink Tile Education is supporting a mainstream secondary school in the Brighton area that is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Art and Photography Teacher to join their team on a full-time, ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and dedicated teacher who is committed to inspiring students, encouraging artistic expression and delivering engaging lessons in both art and photography within a supportive secondary school environment.
Deliver engaging and creative art and photography lessons to secondary school students.
Plan and prepare lessons that inspire students and support their artistic development.
Encourage creativity, confidence and self-expression through a range of artistic techniques and photographic practices.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Support students in developing their artistic skills, photographic techniques and creative portfolios.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students’ learning and development.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching art and photography at secondary school level is desirable.
A passion for art, photography and delivering high-quality education.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
