Pink Tile Education is supporting a mainstream secondary school in the Bognor Regis / Littlehampton area that is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Food Technology / Design & Technology Teacher to join their team for an immediate start on a full-time, ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and creative teacher who is committed to inspiring students, developing their practical skills and delivering engaging lessons in food technology and design and technology within a supportive secondary school environment.
Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology and Design & Technology lessons to secondary school students.
Plan and prepare lessons that meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
Develop students’ practical skills, creativity and understanding of food preparation, nutrition and design processes.
Create a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment, including practical workshop and food technology settings.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed during practical lessons.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students’ learning and development.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching Food Technology and/or Design & Technology at secondary school level is desirable.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical, creative learning.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
