An inclusive and ambitious primary school is seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with autism and communication needs.

The school is looking for someone who can provide consistency, encouragement and individualised support throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored support throughout lessons
• Encourage communication and interaction
• Implement strategies recommended by specialists
• Support emotional regulation
• Record progress and achievements
• Work closely with school staff and parents
• Help the child thrive socially and academically

About You

• Previous SEN experience desirable
• Patient, caring and proactive
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Able to remain calm and positive
• Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
