Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Hygiene
- Pediatric First Aid certification

Key Responsibilities
- Supervision and Safety:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children attending the After School Club
- Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios at all times
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
- Conduct regular head counts and maintain accurate attendance records
- Administer first aid as needed and maintain incident reports
- Program Planning and Implementation:
- Assist in planning and organizing age-appropriate activities, games, and projects
- Set up and prepare materials for daily activities
- Lead and participate in group activities, encouraging children’s involvement
- Adapt activities to meet the needs and interests of individual children
- Incorporate educational elements into recreational activities
- Behavior Management:
- Implement positive behavior management techniques
- Establish and maintain clear rules and expectations for children
- Address behavioral issues promptly and appropriately
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding children’s behavior
- Promote a respectful and inclusive environment for all children
- Snack Preparation and Food Safety:
- Prepare and serve nutritious snacks in accordance with food hygiene standards
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and serving of food items
- Maintain a clean and sanitary food preparation area
- Accommodate special dietary needs and food allergies
- Teach and reinforce proper hand washing and food safety practices among children
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding children’s experiences
