Required Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervision and Safety:
   • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children attending the After School Club
   • Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios at all times
   • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
   • Conduct regular head counts and maintain accurate attendance records
   • Administer first aid as needed and maintain incident reports
2. Program Planning and Implementation:
   • Assist in planning and organizing age-appropriate activities, games, and projects
   • Set up and prepare materials for daily activities
   • Lead and participate in group activities, encouraging children’s involvement
   • Adapt activities to meet the needs and interests of individual children
   • Incorporate educational elements into recreational activities
3. Behavior Management:
   • Implement positive behavior management techniques
   • Establish and maintain clear rules and expectations for children
   • Address behavioral issues promptly and appropriately
   • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding children’s behavior
   • Promote a respectful and inclusive environment for all children
4. Snack Preparation and Food Safety:
   • Prepare and serve nutritious snacks in accordance with food hygiene standards
   • Ensure proper handling, storage, and serving of food items
   • Maintain a clean and sanitary food preparation area
   • Accommodate special dietary needs and food allergies
   • Teach and reinforce proper hand washing and food safety practices among children
5. Communication and Collaboration:
   • Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding children’s experiences
   •
