Pay: £92.63 – £100 per day
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a specialist setting in Oxted, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role involves working in a structured, nurturing, and inclusive environment to support students’ learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in the classroom and around the school
• Provide consistent 1:1 and small group support
• Promote engagement, independence, and learning
• Work closely with teaching staff to implement strategies and interventions
• Support communication, sensory needs, and routines
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social development
• Follow all safeguarding procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with ASD (or willingness to learn)
• A patient, calm, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of autism and supportive strategies
• A proactive and reliable attitude
• A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
