Pink Tile Education is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and aspiring teachers to support secondary schools across the Horsham area. Whether you’re a graduate, career changer, university leaver, or someone with experience working with young people, these opportunities offer an excellent pathway into education.

Working within schools as a Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor, or Behaviour Support Mentor, you’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience, develop essential classroom skills, and build the confidence needed to progress into teacher training or a long-term career in education.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students in lessons and helping them engage positively with their learning.
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities, resources, and lesson delivery.
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons as a Cover Supervisor when required.
  • Providing encouragement and guidance to help students achieve their potential.
  • Supporting students with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs.
  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community.
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Developing your understanding of classroom practice, behaviour management, and effective teaching strategies.

  • Able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.
  • Must hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
