Autism Teaching Assistant – Farnborough

We are supporting a well-regarded specialist provision in Farnborough that works with pupils with autism and associated needs. The school has a highly structured approach, with clear routines and strong communication strategies embedded across the setting.

They are looking for an Autism Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, supporting pupils who benefit from consistency and routine.

You will be:

• Supporting pupils within a structured classroom environment
• Using visual timetables and communication tools
• Supporting social interaction and engagement
• Helping pupils manage transitions throughout the day

The school offers excellent support to staff and is a great setting for someone looking to build long-term SEND experience.

Role details:

• Long-term role
• Full-time or part-time available
• Start ASAP or May half term
• £93 per day

• Someone calm, consistent and patient
• Experience with autism or SEND (desirable but not essential)
• A proactive and supportive approach

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Up-to-date safeguarding training
