Learning Support Assistant – Horsham Area – Full-time

Our client is an outstanding ASD Specialist SEND School catering for ASD and associated behavioural needs. An excellent training and support package will be available for the successful candidate. The role involves working 1:1 & in groups with SEND Pupils of primary & secondary age. You will receive second-to-none guidance on carrying out your role safely, positively & effectively.

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and inspirational individual to join our team with proven track records in achieving high-quality standards.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Supporting the delivery of lessons
  • Working closely with individual pupils on a 1:1 basis to support their learning.
  • Promoting and enabling social development opportunities
Pay = £79 per day

The successful candidate will need to have experience in the following areas:-

  • Creative approaches to learning
  • Working academically to a good standard

Desirable:

  • Experience working with students with complex needs, including ASD or Emotional, Social and Attachment related needs.
  • Experience working with behaviour & the use of interventions/strategies in education
  • Experience working with young people
Learning Support Assistant (SEND) – Horsham Area – Full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 – 3:30 Term Time only.

The staff team are tight-knit, friendly and very supportive. The staff team work hard to achieve outstanding outcomes with their pupils. The school site is a marvellous environment with state-of-the-art facilities and resources, enabling purposeful teaching and learning. The school is situated in the beautiful Sussex countryside just outside of Horsham. Ideally, the applicant will have access to a vehicle due to the location of the school.
