Behaviour & Inclusion Support Assistant – Specialist School | Basingstoke

£14.25 per hour | Long-Term Opportunity | New Academic Year

Would you enjoy supporting students to build confidence, resilience and positive relationships?

A specialist SEND school in Basingstoke is seeking a dedicated Behaviour & Inclusion Support Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional learning and behavioural needs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and helping students overcome challenges to achieve success.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils within the classroom and around the school
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
  • Helping students regulate emotions and build confidence
  • Working alongside teachers and support staff
  • Supporting individual learning and wellbeing plans

About You

  • Resilient, empathetic and adaptable
  • Experience in education, care, youth work or support work is advantageous
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passionate about supporting young people
