Behaviour Mentor – Year 2

Location: Fantastic small primary school
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm
Pay: £84 per day

Do you have the skills to turn challenges into success stories? We’re looking for a Behaviour Mentor to work 1:1 with a Year 2 child who needs extra support to thrive in the classroom.

This is more than a job — it’s a chance to make a real impact every single day. You’ll be the calm, positive role model who helps a child regulate emotions, build confidence, and engage with learning.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with behavioural and emotional needs
  • Use positive strategies to encourage engagement and resilience
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to adapt approaches
  • Create a safe, supportive environment where the child can succeed

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in behaviour support or SEN (school-based experience is ideal)
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and build trust with pupils
