Childcare Mentor – Residential Care (East Sussex) 🌟

Location: Across 1 of 4 residential sites in the East Sussex area
Hours: Full-time (40 hours min) – shift patterns include days, earlies, lates, and nights
Contract: Permanent, Bank, or Temp-to-Perm

About the Role

As a Childcare Mentor, you’ll be part of a team providing a stable, safe, and nurturing environment for children and young people living in residential care. You’ll be a positive role model, helping them grow, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

You’ll work across one of our 4 welcoming homes in East Sussex, so being a driver is essential.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people (or transferable experience from other care roles)

  • Are committed, resilient, and patient

  • Have a genuine desire to support and mentor young people

  • Can work shifts including weekends and nights

  • Hold a valid driving licence

  • Support Worker (children or adults)

  • Youth Worker / Youth Mentor

  • Care Assistant

  • Teaching Assistant / SEN Support

  • Residential Support Worker

  • Mental Health Support Worker

  • Prison Officer / Probation / Social Care roles

  • Foster Carer / Childminder

  • Or any role supporting vulnerable people
