An inclusive specialist provision in Portsmouth is seeking a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team from April 2026.
This setting supports pupils with Autism, learning difficulties and additional physical needs.
The role will involve:
Personalised 1:1 support
Supporting EHCP targets
Assisting with communication strategies (PECS, Makaton desirable)
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
You will need:
Experience in SEND settings
DBS on the Update Service
Up-to-date safeguarding training
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
