Computing Subject Lead

A fantastic, well-established school in Lewes, East Sussex are working with Pink Tile Education to find a passionate, enthusiastic and fully qualified Secondary Computing Teacher to be their subject lead from January.

Our school is in need of a teacher to work with Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The school has a strong ethos and a fantastic support structure in place. A successful candidate will be inspiring and a role model to pupils, with excellent interpersonal skills, superb teaching manner, strong classroom management, and the willingness to conduct the full teaching cycle at all times with both pupils and staff in a school environment.

As a subject lead, you would be expected to:

• Oversee the learning of all students in the Computing department.
• Co-ordinate extra-curricular activities.
• Lead the development of projects aimed at enhancing attainment.
• Support the work of teaching staff.
• Assist in targeting learning resources to support the diversity within the student body.
