Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Hastings
Contract: Ad hoc / Part-time / Full-time
Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pink Tile is looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team and support the wonderful schools they work with across Hastings. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in students’ learning and school experience.
Role Overview:
The Cover Supervisor will support schools by delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining positive behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged when teachers are absent. The role is flexible and can be ad hoc, part-time, or full-time depending on availability.
Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-planned lessons to students, following teacher instructions
Support positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment
Monitor student engagement and report back to teaching staff
Provide additional classroom support where needed
Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
Essential Requirements:
Experience in coaching, classroom support, or behaviour management
Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students
Strong organisational and communication skills
Current, up-to-date DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
A proactive, positive attitude and a desire to make an impact in schools
