Cover Supervisor – Eastbourne

Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible Opportunities)

We are seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Eastbourne, supporting pupils across a range of subject areas.

This role is ideal for someone with strong behaviour management skills who enjoys working with young people in a classroom setting. You will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task.

The Role

Supervising whole classes during short-term teacher absence
Delivering pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment
Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently
Covering a variety of subject areas as required
Ensuring students remain focused, safe, and supported

✅ No planning, preparation, or marking required

Requirements

Proven strong behaviour management skills
Confidence covering a range of subjects at secondary level
Ability to follow lesson plans and school policies
Calm, professional, and adaptable approach
Experience working with children or young people is highly desirable
