Cover Supervisor – West Sussex

Pay: £18,866 actual annual salary (Term time only)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.15am – 3.15pm (31.67 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent

Pink Tile is working with a welcoming and well-organised secondary school in West Sussex to recruit a Cover Supervisor to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and has the confidence to step into the classroom in the absence of the class teacher.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects and supporting students to stay on track with their learning. You’ll also work closely with the SEN team to provide additional classroom support as needed. This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone organised, adaptable, and confident in managing a classroom environment.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people in an educational setting

• Is confident, calm and approachable with a professional attitude

• Can follow lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Works well independently and as part of a team

• Is flexible and responsive to the needs of the school

• Can build strong working relationships with students and staff
