Cover Supervisor (Graduate, Temporary)

💰 Pay: £115 per day (negotiable for experience)

Do you want a role that is both challenging and rewarding? Pink Tile Education is seeking confident and motivated graduates to work as Cover Supervisors across our partner schools in Crawley.

This is a temporary, full-time position where you will step into classrooms and deliver pre-set lessons in the teacher’s absence. No planning or marking is required – your focus is on keeping the lesson running smoothly and supporting students in their learning.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a classroom of students and ensuring learning continues

• Delivering pre-prepared lesson content confidently

• Handling behaviour effectively and following school policies

• Reporting progress and concerns to school staff

This role is an excellent way to build experience working with large groups of young people. It’s also ideal for those who are considering teacher training or future education roles but want to gain classroom experience first.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold a degree in a curriculum subject

• Have at least 5 weeks’ experience working with children or teenagers (e.g., youth work, summer camps, tutoring)

• Are proactive, reliable, and confident in front of a class

• Have a DBS registered on the Update Service and up-to-date safeguarding training
