A well-regarded secondary school in Bognor Regis is seeking a dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This is a full-time, term-time role ideal for aspiring English teachers, recent graduates, or experienced TAs with a flair for language and communication.

The role:

• Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 English lessons, both in class and on a 1:1 basis.

• Working closely with English teachers to raise attainment and engagement.

• Assisting with planning and delivering small group literacy interventions.

• Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

About you:

• A degree in English (Literature or Language) or a related subject is desirable.

• Previous experience working with young people (minimum 6 weeks).

• You must have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service and up-to-date safeguarding training (essential).

• A positive, proactive approach and a genuine interest in education.
