English Teacher KS3/ KS4

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a high-achieving and forward-thinking secondary school in Eastbourne. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5.
• Inspire and support students in developing their skills and confidence in both literature and language.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.
• Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Has a DBS on the update service or prepare to obtain one.
• Hold QTS, a PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, student-focused lessons.
• Possess excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to high expectations for all learners.
