We are currently recruiting a calm, patient, and committed SEMH Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in the Crawley area. This full-time, temp-to-perm role involves teaching and supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs within a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

As an SEMH Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping pupils feel safe, supported, and engaged in their learning. You will plan and deliver lessons, provide individualised support, and work closely with teaching assistants and pastoral staff to meet the emotional, behavioural, and learning needs of each student.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience teaching children with SEMH or challenging behaviour

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills

  • Confidence in delivering lessons and managing classroom dynamics

  • A proactive, resilient, and compassionate attitude
