Food Technology Teacher – Secondary School (January Start)
Pink Tile Education is seeking an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a secondary school from January, teaching KS3 and KS4 students. The successful candidate will inspire and engage pupils, delivering practical and creative lessons in food technology, while supporting the school’s curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 food technology lessons.
Support the development of pupils’ practical and theoretical skills.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Maintain a safe, organised, and inspiring classroom environment.
Contribute to curriculum planning and school initiatives.
Encourage creativity, independence, and teamwork among students.
Liaise with colleagues, parents, and senior staff to support learning.
Requirements:
QTS preferred but not essential for candidates with the right experience.
Passion for teaching food technology and inspiring young people.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
