Geography Graduate Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant – Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Graduate Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to develop their classroom management skills while supporting students in their academic journey.

The Role:

• Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, term-time only).
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide classroom supervision in the absence of the teacher.
• Support students in Geography and other subjects, ensuring they stay engaged and on task.
• Assist with interventions and small-group support, helping to improve student outcomes.
• Gain valuable experience in lesson delivery, behaviour management, and classroom organisation.

Requirements:

• A degree in Geography or a related subject.
• At least 6 weeks of experience working with children or young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.).
• A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• A passion for education and a desire to develop a career in teaching.
