Cover Supervisor – Full-Time (Geography Focus)

💰 Pay Rate: £120 per day
🕘 Days: Monday to Friday

Are you a confident and enthusiastic individual with a passion for education? We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Chichester from September, covering Geography lessons on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with classroom experience, a strong presence, and the ability to engage and support students in their learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, maintaining classroom order, and ensuring students remain focused and on task throughout the day.

The role:

• Supervising classes during teacher absences

• Delivering pre-planned lessons (mainly Geography)

• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment

• Supporting students with their learning and ensuring engagement

• Reporting back to the teaching team on lesson outcomes and student progress

You will need:

• Experience working with young people (school, youth work, tutoring or similar)

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• A calm, confident and professional approach

• A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

• Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
