Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – SEMH Specialist School – Woking

Are you an experienced and compassionate HLTA ready to make a meaningful impact in a therapeutic, child-centred setting?

We are an independent specialist school in Woking, supporting pupils aged 11–17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We’re looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team and help deliver high-quality, inclusive education.


About You:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Confident supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects
  • Skilled in working with pupils with SEMH, autism, ADHD, and other additional needs
  • Able to lead small group interventions and support classroom delivery
  • Committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
