We are working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Littlehampton that is seeking a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an HLTA qualification and a genuine interest in supporting children with a range of learning needs.

💼 The Role:

  • Delivering high-quality support across the school, working with pupils from EYFS to KS2.
  • Leading small group interventions and supporting class teachers with planning and delivery.
  • Supporting children with additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Taking initiative in the classroom and contributing to a positive, engaging learning atmosphere.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working in a primary school setting.
  • A flexible, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach.
  • SEN experience is desirable – particularly supporting children with mild to moderate needs.
  • A team player who is confident leading groups and supporting whole-class learning.

📍 Location & Hours:

  • Based in Littlehampton, West Sussex.
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
  • Easily commutable from surrounding areas – parking available.
