Are you an experienced HLTA with a passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist school in Woking, where your skills and care will make a genuine impact every day.

About the School:
This nurturing and inclusive SEMH school supports students aged 11–17 in small, focused classes. The team is committed to helping every child thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your input is valued and your development supported.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading small group interventions and supporting learning across subjects
  • Working closely with teachers to deliver tailored support plans
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with students
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement
  • Helping students meet their academic and personal development goals

What We’re Looking For:

  • HLTA status or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience working with SEMH or in alternative provision settings
  • A calm, empathetic and adaptable approach
  • Confidence in leading learning and managing behaviour positively
  • Passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
