Pink Tile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Horsham that is seeking an experienced History Teacher to join immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and adaptable practitioner who can step in and make an immediate impact.
About the Role
The school is looking for a qualified History Teacher who can deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons that inspire a love of history and support strong pupil progress.
This role requires someone who can “hit the ground running” and adapt quickly to the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
- Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
- Maintain strong classroom management and high expectations
- Contribute to the wider school community where required
- Support students in achieving positive academic outcomes
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching History at secondary level (essential)
- Available for immediate start
- Able to commit full-time, 5 days per week, until further notice
- Must hold a DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff
