A wonderful primary school near Petworth is looking for a caring, proactive and enthusiastic Inclusion & Support Mentor to join their KS1 team, supporting pupils with additional needs in a nurturing and structured environment.

💛 The Role

As an Inclusion & Support Mentor, you will:

• Work full‑time, Monday–Friday (8:30am–3:30pm)
• Support pupils in KS1, including targeted 1:1 and small‑group SEN work
• Help deliver phonics, early literacy and numeracy
• Build calm, trusting relationships with children who need consistency
• Use positive behaviour strategies to support emotional regulation
• Work closely with the class teacher & SENCO to track progress
• Help create a calm, caring and structured classroom environment

• SEN experience (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, etc.)
• A nurturing, patient, child‑centred approach
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Someone reliable, warm and proactive
• Confidence supporting KS1 learners
• A passion for helping children thrive academically and emotionally
