We’re working with a progressive and supportive secondary school in Horsham seeking a Science Intervention Specialist for a September start.
This is a unique and rewarding role supporting pupils who need extra help to grasp key scientific concepts. You will deliver tailored intervention sessions in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics – either in small groups or one-to-one – and help pupils prepare for assessments and exams.
Intervention specialists play a crucial role in student progress, working with staff to spot gaps in understanding and building students’ confidence. If you have a Science background, tutoring or classroom support experience, and a proactive attitude, this could be an ideal opportunity.
Requirements:
A DBS on the Update Service
Up-to-date safeguarding training
A passion for Science and helping young learners succeed
Experience working with young people (minimum 6 weeks)
