Primary Teacher – Year 4 (Long-Term) | Hastings

Location: Hastings, East Sussex
Start Date: February half term
Contract: Long-term, full-time (with potential to extend)
Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
DBS: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required

Pink Tile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hastings to recruit a Year 4 Teacher for a long-term role starting from February half term.

This is a settled KS2 class within a school that values consistency, inclusion and strong relationships. The leadership team is supportive and visible, and there is experienced Teaching Assistant support in place to ensure pupils are well supported academically and emotionally.

The role:

• Full classroom responsibility for a Year 4 class

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum

• Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities, including SEND and EAL

• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to support next steps

• Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SEN staff and leadership

• Creating a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment

We are looking for:

• A qualified teacher with QTS

• KS2 teaching experience (Year 4 experience desirable but not essential)

• Strong classroom management and clear expectations

• A reflective, team-oriented approach

This role would suit an experienced teacher or confident ECT seeking a stable, well-supported long-term position within a Hastings primary school.
