About the School

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Seaford is seeking a confident and adaptable KS2 Teacher to provide teaching cover on both a daily and long-term supply basis. About the Role

This is a flexible supply teaching position, offering a mix of day-to-day cover and longer-term placements within Key Stage 2.

For daily supply, you will deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure continuity of learning. For longer-term roles, you may take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Follow lesson plans for daily supply, or plan and assess learning in long-term roles
Maintain a well-managed and productive classroom environment
Support pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities, including SEND
Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations, including SATs (where applicable)
Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong curriculum knowledge, particularly in English and Maths
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
Ability to quickly adapt to different classroom settings
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Desirable

Experience preparing pupils for SATs
Experience supporting children with SEND
A track record of strong pupil progress
