We are working with a highly-regarded secondary school in Crawley who are looking to appoint a Learning Associate to join their team full-time from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in education. Whether you’re a graduate exploring teaching or an experienced support worker, this role offers valuable in-school experience in a rewarding and varied setting.
As a Learning Associate, you’ll be working closely with teaching staff to support pupils both in the classroom and during targeted interventions. You will:
Provide in-class support across a range of subjects and year groups
Help students engage with learning and make progress
Offer pastoral and academic support to students who may need a little extra help
Work one-to-one and in small groups to reinforce key concepts
Build strong relationships with students and staff alike
A minimum of 2 months’ experience working with children or young people
(this could be in a school, youth work, tutoring, camps, mentoring, etc.)
A proactive and compassionate approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
A genuine interest in education and supporting young people to succeed
Excellent stepping stone into a teaching or education career
