Location: Crawley
Role: Full-Time, Starting September 2024
Pay: £84 per day

About the Role: Our client secondary school in Crawley is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor to join their Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department. This full-time role will commence in September 2024, offering you the chance to be a vital part of a supportive and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with ADHD, Autism, and learning needs.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support each student’s educational journey.
• Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to the SEND department.

Requirements:

• Must have an up-to-date DBS on the update service.
• Current safeguarding training is essential.
• Previous experience working with children and young people is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
