Learning Mentor – SEMH School

£92.59 – £120 per day, depending on experience
Monday to Friday | Term Time Only | Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Mentor to join a specialist SEMH school in Dorking, supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and helping pupils thrive both academically and emotionally within a supportive school environment.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
• Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted adult and role model
• Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
• Encouraging engagement with learning and promoting positive outcomes
• Working closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour is desirable
• Calm, resilient, and able to build strong relationships
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people
• Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the school’s rural location
