£92.59 – £120 per day, depending on experience
Monday to Friday | Term Time Only | Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Mentor to join a specialist SEN school in Cranleigh, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication needs and associated learning difficulties.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference, building positive relationships, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning in a supportive school environment.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with SEN needs in and out of the classroom
• Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted adult and role model
• Providing emotional, behavioural, and pastoral support to help pupils engage with learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting positive outcomes
• Working closely with teachers and the wider support team to support individual learning and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEND, or additional needs is desirable
• Calm, resilient, and confident managing challenging behaviours
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the school’s rural location
