Fixed-Term Learning Support Assistant 

Location: Hove 
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 1:00 PM (Term-time only)
Contract: Fixed-term until 31st August 2026 (possibility of becoming permanent)
Salary: £27,254 – £27,694 per annum (FTE) – Pro rata for 20 hours per week

Hove Learning Federation serves over 1,000 children across three vibrant sites: School Road, Portland Road, and Holland Road. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and positive Learning Support Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in pupils’ lives.


About the Role:

  • Work 1:1 with pupils who need additional support to access learning and thrive in the classroom.
  • Support children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and those who may display challenging behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the wider team to create an inclusive, nurturing environment.
  • Be flexible to work across our federation sites if required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with additional needs in a primary school setting.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and families.
