Learning Support Assistant – Special School (Southampton)

We are working with a specialist school in Southampton that supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism and additional learning difficulties.

The school is well-resourced and has a strong emphasis on teamwork, with support staff playing a vital role in the day-to-day running of the classroom.

They are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join them on a long-term basis.

You will be:

• Supporting pupils in small classes with high staff ratios
• Assisting with both academic and personal development
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and support staff
• Helping to create a safe, engaging and structured environment

This role would suit someone looking to build a long-term career in SEND or education.

Role details:

• Long-term role
• Full-time or part-time available
• Immediate or May half term start
• £93 per day

Requirements:

• Experience in SEND or care is desirable
• DBS on the Update Service
• Up-to-date safeguarding training
