Learning Support Assistant – Full Time – Immediate Start – Sompting
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Sompting to find a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a full-time role working closely with the SEND department and the Inclusion Manager, providing support across the school to ensure that students with additional needs are fully included in all aspects of school life.
Supporting students with a range of SEND needs both in class and through targeted intervention
Working flexibly across year groups and subject areas
Collaborating with the SEND and pastoral teams to promote engagement, independence, and progress
Assisting with personalised strategies to meet students’ individual needs
Experience supporting young people in an educational or care setting
Calm, empathetic, and patient approach
Able to build strong relationships with students and staff
A genuine interest in inclusive education and helping every child thrive
Start: As soon as possible
Location: Sompting, West Sussex
Hours: Full-time, term time only
Pay: £89 per day
Candidates must have a DBS on the Update Service and up-to-date safeguarding training
