We are working closely with a welcoming primary school in Peacehaven who require a Learning Support Assistant for short-term cover starting in January.
The role will involve supporting pupils across KS2, working both in class and with small groups to support engagement, confidence, and access to learning. The school has a clear behaviour policy and a supportive staff team who value consistency and clear communication.
This role would suit someone who is adaptable, calm under pressure, and confident supporting a range of learning needs.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting pupils during lessons to stay focused and engaged
• Working with small groups to reinforce learning
• Providing additional support where needed
• Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
• Working closely with teachers and support staff
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a primary school setting
• Enhanced DBS
• Up-to-date safeguarding training
Pay: £89 per day, paid weekly
