We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Robertsbridge. This is a great chance to support students’ learning and development in a positive, inclusive environment.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide targeted support to students with additional needs, including SEN and EAL
Assist teachers in delivering lessons and adapting resources to meet individual needs
Support students both 1:1 and in small groups to enhance learning and engagement
Help foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Monitor student progress and report back to teaching staff
Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans
Support students’ social and emotional development
Carry out administrative tasks related to student support as needed

Requirements:
Must have a DBS on the Update Service or be prepared to obtain one
Experience working with children or young people, preferably in education or support roles
