This full-time Teaching Assistant role in Hassocks is perfect for somebody who enjoys supporting children within a busy, vibrant school environment.

This large four-form entry primary school in Hassocks has a strong reputation for inclusion and pupil support. The school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant in Hassocks to support children across EYFS and Key Stage 1, including pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs and social communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in class and through interventions
• Delivering targeted literacy and numeracy support
• Working 1:1 with children requiring additional support
• Supporting children with SEN including ASD and ADHD
• Building positive relationships with pupils and families
• Supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Requirements

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEN TA
• Experience within a primary school or similar setting
• Enhanced DBS
• Driver preferred
