Learning Support Assistant (with Medical Training – Injections)
Hours: 15–37 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic individual looking to make a real difference in a school setting? We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant who is qualified and trained to medically administer injections and who is also passionate about supporting students in the classroom.
You’ll be working as part of our friendly and dedicated support team, providing both medical assistance where required and helping students to thrive in their learning. The role combines medical responsibility with classroom-based support — ideal for someone who enjoys varied, meaningful work.
Your responsibilities will include:
Administering injections and other agreed medical interventions safely and professionally (training certificate required).
Supporting pupils’ learning and development alongside the class teacher.
Promoting inclusion, confidence and wellbeing for all students.
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Qualified and trained to administer injections (evidence of medical training essential).
Experienced or interested in working as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment.
Kind, reliable and adaptable, with a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
In possession of a current Enhanced DBS that is registered on the Update Service.
