  TEACHING ASSISTANTS / LSA OPPORTUNITIES – Brighton 

 £88 – £110 per day (weekly pay)
Full-Time | Term Time Only | Long-Term Roles Available

We are currently recruiting passionate and resilient Teaching Assistants (TA’s) and Learning Support Assistants (LSA’s) to work within SEND schools across Brighton and surrounding areas. These are rewarding long-term opportunities supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities (LD), Autism (ASD), SEMH, and complex needs.


THE ROLE:

You will be supporting pupils either:

  • 1:1 (individual support)
  • In small groups or class settings
  • Alongside teachers and SEN teams to deliver personalised learning support

Your day will be varied, meaningful, and focused on helping young people access education, develop confidence, and regulate emotions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs in and out of the classroom
  • Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour support
  • Encouraging engagement in learning through tailored strategies
  • Supporting communication, independence, and social development
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
  • Helping create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
