A warm, welcoming nursery in Bexhill-on-Sea is looking for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join their dedicated Early Years team.

The Role

As a Level 3 Nursery Assistant, you’ll play an important part in each child’s early learning journey by:

• Supporting children aged 0–5 through engaging, play-based learning.
• Delivering activities that promote children’s development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Creating a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
• Encouraging children’s independence, confidence and social development.
• Supporting daily routines, including personal care where required.
• Building positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Has previous experience working within a nursery setting.
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Is caring, enthusiastic and passionate about Early Years education.
• Works well as part of a team and enjoys contributing new ideas.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing.

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Previous nursery experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding within Early Years.
