Are you a dedicated and dynamic PE teacher passionate about promoting health, fitness, and teamwork among young people? We are seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Hastings area.
The Role
We are looking for an exceptional teacher to:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan and deliver a varied and inclusive curriculum that inspires students to develop their physical abilities and love for sport.
- Promote a culture of healthy living and encourage active participation in both lessons and extracurricular activities.
- Use effective assessment methods to monitor and support student progress.
- Foster teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship in all aspects of teaching.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular sports program, including clubs, competitions, and events.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be qualified to teach Physical Education.
- Be registered on the DBS Update Service with an enhanced disclosure certificate.
- Have up-to-date safeguarding training and a thorough understanding of child protection policies.
- Demonstrate a passion for PE and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
- Show excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Be committed to professional development and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Must be male.
